About Us
Covey Trails is first and foremost a Flying Community. The lighted grass runway in the middle of the community is accessible from all lots, either directly or by taxiway. We are like a big family that enjoys our hamburger fly-ins, an annual fly-in, and spur of the moment lunch fly-outs for that yummy $200 hamburger. The quiet tree lined streets are perfect for walking your dog, riding your bike or just taking a leisurely stroll. Amenities include a small clubhouse where we host parties, crawfish boils, classes, games, and other get togethers. Because we are so small, we are really just a big family. We still have the first homebuilder and his wife living here, and Covey Trails was started in 1978!
